There are a lot of forum members here who do just that: help others.

Ask away , I'm sure you'll get answers.

I've been to many stores that sell photo equipment, including printers.  If I see an interesting printer, what I want to do most is pull out my USB drive and print 4 or 5 of my best images on that printer, and compare them to prints I've already done.

What do you think the chances are the store people will *ever* let me do that, particularly on a $200 printer?  If you guessed zero, you win.

So, I recommend you read up - search the specs on the Internet forums, then look up actual user reviews, then look around here for further information.

I took the easy way out and bought a $250 HP Deskjet, which prints about the same as the last 3 printers I bought.  But the paper really makes the difference, and the paper you want, plus the ink, will make the cost of the printer negligible.

Sorry for the short detail.

Let me know about some new inkjet printer’s series model in HP, Canon and Epson with their product features and cost. I want to use that for picture and text both but not for large pictures.

Jeff, you could usefully do some research yourself and narrow down the field, then come back with specific questions! It would take many hours of research and typing to give you the full answers to such a general question - and everyone here is volunteering their time, remember

But for starters - you probably want to look for a general A4 office model rather than a specialist large format photo printer - based on the info you give.

Time to do your own homework now...

Jeff....

Are you specifically looking for a photo printer or more of an "All-in-one" type of unit?  It almost seems like the latter to me, and that space is highly competitive.

Cheers....

Well maybe a good place to start is photo-i in the UK. Very detailed and honest reporting in a way that makes sense.

There are many reviews, the three pigs being the most important for A3+ pigment printers.

Yes.  Text and photocopy are office applications, and you should check out an Internet forum that discusses office applications.  This forum specializes in the thing that you're not looking to do - large size photos.

Thanks to both of you for your valuable replies. Well, will you please help me to know how can I recycle used ink cartridges? Is it ok to refill the ink cartridges by my own in my inkjet printer?

The stores and dealers who sell the print cartridges will also take care of your recycle needs.

Here is an online source which I found during my search on Google for some inkjet printer information. Their all products are fully "OEM matched" in quality and they provide their products in Epson Printer Ink Cartridges, Canon Printer Ink Cartridges, and Hp Inkjet Cartridges.

Please continue your great support.

I think what you need is one of these:

http://www.durst.it/en/durst-phototechnik-...t/rho-351r.html

To use it as a photocopier is easy.  Just plug one of these

http://www.phaseone.com/Content/p1digitalb...Pplus/P65+.aspx

onto the back of one of these

http://www.phaseone.com/camera/

and attach one of these

http://www.mamiya.com/645afd-iii-lenses-se...traitmacro.html

tethered to one of these

http://store.apple.com/us/configure/MB535LL/A?mco=NDE4NDIyMQ

and screwed it to one of these

http://www.adorama.com/BG1720.html

You'll need some light though, I'd suggest that 4 of these will do

How about a small waistpack to carry it all in?
