Is there someone using a sliding back on a arca Rm3d. I would like to use one but don't know if there is already one available with hasselblad H or V mount that fits the Rm3d.

The Arca-Swiss Rotaslide fits the Rm3d as it uses the same mounting system from the other 6X9 Arca's

Will i be able to focus at infinity? i tried an other sliding back from arca swiss but that unable to focus properly. Is there a websit where i can find relevant info abot arca swiss. Arca seems to keep all info to themselves, all i find are non relevant re-seller sites.

Martin Vogt's username on this forum is ARCA. He would be the best person to answer your questions, no?

Cheers,

You will most likely need different (deeper) lens boards, or shorter focusing drums, to get the lens closer to the Sensor/ GG.
Kumar is right, best is to speak to Martin Vogt at Arca-Swiss on +33.381.854.060 or as he explains all the details much better than I can:-)

Dear Ixpressraf

You can use the RotaSlide® on the Rm3d with any lens except the Schneider 24XL.
The calibration tubes of the lenses are a two-part-design, therefore you can take off
the short spacer if you wish to work with the RotaSlide® or leave it on if you're working without.
see illustration below:

Ps: Thank you, Yair

So, who is ARCA ? Marc or Martin ?

I've heard that Arca was working on thinner adapters (both groundglass and digital back)... is that true ?

Dear Arca, i do have the first version of the Rm3d with 35mm xl. The metal spacer is a one piece black ring with a bronze topping on it. I can't take them apart as far as i can see.
Thanks in advance.

@ archivue

ARCA is either Marc or me. We both work for ARCA-SWISS.

The RotaSlide® can't get any thinner, but the new one is a little smaller.
New ARCA-SWISS cameras delivered after March 09 will have the new
N-Standard groundglass which is thinner and therefore requires N-Standard adapters.
All N-standard ground glass frames as well as adapters are clearly marked. (engraved N)

@ixpressraf

If you do have the first version of the Rm3d we would need your
calibration tube and lens to up-grade them to the latest version.
I will ask tomorrow for details and will send you a PM.

Regards

Martin

Arca keeps improving their stuff... again, and again...

Dear archivue

The N-Standard ground glasses and adapters are 2.5mm thinner due to new lens designs.

Best regards
