PDR 3300
« on: December 08, 2003, 07:56:53 pm »

Has anyone had any experience with shooting the Toshiba PDR-3300 3.1MP cam? I just bought this camera as it looked like a good start into the digital photography field. So far I have been blown away with the features and it's digital SLR features. Im writting to hear other opinions and tips for shooting with this cam. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Ps : To the 3300 users, there are true manual focus and manual white balance hidden functions in the most recent 1.06a firewire upgrade; just press and hold the 'down' button in the menu with focus options until 'MF' appears and then select it. To manually focus press and hold the 'disp' button and use the zoom controls to focus. For manual white balance do the same in the WB menu until 'Pre Set' appears and then select it. Point the camera at your reference white color (paper etc.) press the shutter button and then select 'ok'. You can also disable the power off timer by holding down 'Disp' while turning on the camera.
