In about a week we will reopen and be ready to accept new orders.
Here is a video shot with the lens at f/1.4 on YouTube - the compression does not do justice to the impeccable sharpness, bokeh and rendering characteristics of the lens.

The lens automatically detects if the camera is in LiveView mode and it is possible to override the aperture of a 5D mark II camera during movie capture. The entire video was shot wide open at f/1.4.
You can get the same aperture control with any manual lens, e.g. the ZF or C/Y mount Planar 50/1.4, so this may be old news to you. However, the idea here is to have the best of both worlds: auto aperture diaphragm for stills, manual aperture control for movies. As of today, using a Contax N mount lens converted by us is the only way to have both.
