At outbackphoto.com there is a link to a PDF (provided by Foveon) of a technical review (translated from a Japanese photography magazine) of both the Sigm SD9 and the Canon 1Ds. The two cameras are not compared against each other, since they are two entirely differnt beasts. But rather the two cameras are highlighted because they both are DSLRs that transcend, in terms of image quality (and according to the magazine), previous digital cameras. In other words, it's an exploration of how the high MP of the 1Ds and the Foveon sensor in the SD9 make these two cameras quite different from everything that came before.
