Phase One P65+ technology !
« on: March 24, 2009, 04:14:21 am »

Yes, if Canon would apply "Phase One P65+ technology" to the G10, we could obtain decent pictures up to ISO800 !

But even if it is possible, I'm almost sure that Canon will not make a firmware release to improve High ISO of the G10.
Marketing before

But perhaps it is "post-prodution" possible ?

So, Guillermo and others, is it possible to imagine a Raw Converter which would use same "4 pixel binning" to obtain a clean ISO800 3.6Mp picture ?!

Have a Nice Day.

There is a free software called, "Iris" which was developed for astronomical imaging that does binning that should work on most raw files.  But it isn't a beginner's product, it's very in-depth.  It does "deconvolution" as well to enhance detail in images.
