Which Legacy-era wides for your full-frame?
« on: March 21, 2009, 11:53:51 pm »

Hi all.

Do any of you use manual-era wide primes on your digital full-frame?  More specifically on a Canon full-frame.  I have a 1D M1 and will upgrade soon to the first 1DS or the first 5D.

I love shooting with old manual primes, and not just because I can afford them.

Which ones do you use and how do you like the final output when compared to modern AF/USM wide zooms?

I know that old macro primes still do very well vs new gear.

I think the lens I want would be the Olympus OM Zuiko 24mm f2,8 or 21mm f3,5...for use on Canon full-frame.  I have the adaptor already, it allows infinity focus.

If anyone has other suggestions around the sub-€100 price range then let's hear it.

Say it with pictures, please.
