Epson 3800 and canvas
« on: March 20, 2009, 08:49:45 pm »

I'm thinking of getting the Epson 3800 but the online info provided by Epson doesn't mention canvas.
Anyone had experience with canvas with this printer?

Check Eric Chan's FAQ on the Epson 3800. It is worth the price of the printer. Canvas is discussed here.

I print on canvas all the time with the 3800. Beautiful prints on Breathing Color  Chromata White Canvas. I do tape a lead to the front edge without any feed problems.

Interestingly, the manufacturer does not list the 3800 as a tested and approved printer for this canvas.

Count 4 inches at least that will be needed to stretch the canvas on the stretcher bars. That leaves 13 inches at most for the image.
