Topic: Graduated Filter hangs LR (Read 1859 times)

In the past few days, about every other time I use the graduated filter, LR hangs and has to be restarted. This is a problem I had when LR 2 was released, but had been fixed with 2.3 (I thought). I've had no problems with 2.3 until this past week.

Any ideas how to solve this? I'm on an Intel Mac running OS X 10.4.11.

Not at the moment. But the problem exists whether I've got an external monitor or not.

By the way, I'm on a 10 month old Macbook Pro Intel.

OK, that eliminates one possibility. I had a problem with 2.3's grad when my MacBookPro was hooked up to an external screen.

Does it happen in a new catalogue?

I only use one catalog, so I'm not sure about that. I optimized my current catalog, though, and it hasn't hung and I've been using the grad. filter trying to make it do so. Seems fixed, if temporarily. Will keep you updated.
