Quick and cheap stitching
« on: March 13, 2009, 06:06:07 am »

Hi

I'm looking for a short-term no cost approach to try out stitching up to 6 images, without committing to purchasing new software yet until I can see some what is possible - I'd be printing up to A2 only.

I have Canon Stitch but that only seems to do 3 in a panorama, and also some free software that came with my LX3 (Arc Soft?) - dont think CS2 has any stitching tools - and any freeware I can download.

If I find this is going to work for me a lot, then I can get a more optimal solution - I'm using FF DSLR BTW.

Autopano Pro can be used indefinitely with a watermark before purchasing.  It's an excellent tool with a relatively easy interface.
