is the 120mm macro auto focus (i understand both are manual focus.. so i guess i am really asking if it uses electronics to control the f stop or if you have the use the A/M switch for focus and then shoot). thanks

This is a manual focus lens. There is an f stop ring on the lens. It is a super sharp lens. The lens does not communicate electronically with the camera.

AS Far as I know there is NO Auto Focus edition 120mm macro. There is only a AFDII and D version that the cameras recognises the Fstop in the camera..
Their best lens by far I think.

Absolutely! I've used it with a Hasselblad/Ixpress 384c and a Hasselblad CF 39MS. It will take just about any back you throw at it. The back you put on it will need a Mamiya 645 adaptor plate, which is common to all back manufacturers.

I did just sell the 45mm lens, so I will sell the set for $2580 now.

Hi Bob,
Would you be interested in trading your 120 macro for my 645AF 120 macro?  The glass is clean and sharp.  I'm using mine on my Canon and would love to have the aperture control (I sold my AFDII and have gone to a 4x5)....
Thank you,
Michie
