polaroid back RZ experiences ?

Somehow I want to experiment more and more with film/polaroid (don't worry I will never leave digital).
So I ordered a polaroid back for the RZ.
I got the thing in my hands, but no manual and to be honest I never shot with polaroid before, I was raised with 35mm and MF was straight to digital for me.
Any tips or a manual on how to load the film in the back ?

I have some film on order which I hope to receive next week but I don't want to destroy my first film of course.

I have an old RZ Polaroid back, but have not used it in several years.  Here are the few things that I can remember to do:

1. Fan out the leaders on the Polaroid/ Fujiroid to make sure they will separate when pulling them.
2. Make sure that you keep the rollers clean.  The Polaroid / Fujiroid leaves a nasty goo on them.  When it dries it's a pain to pull the film out smoothly.
3. Use one fluid motion to pull the film out.

fuji instant film is better than "polaroid". closer to what you get on the film.

i must be old, feels like i was using film and polaroid  only yesterday.

Actually I want the polaroid not as proof but as a special purpose effect, or in other words I want to play arround with it.

Hey Frank, i still shoot polaroids with my RZ from time to time. Remember that you will be getting a 6x6 image, not a 6x7 (and the back doesnt revolve). I read about someone modifying his back so he got a larger exposed area but i havent done it to mine.

It's quite a lot of fun to shoot but not for proofs. I use a DSLR for that because its too expensive with Fuji's film  

Now im looking for an old Mamiya 600 SE camera. Shot with one in Malmö not too long ago and fell in love with it =9

(and yes, i still shoot both digital MF and DSLR's, but film is just fun

The image is square, but it's actually 72mmx72mm, I believe.

You can also use 4x5 sheet film and create a 72x72mm image on film with the RZ and Polaroid back... but that's kind of a waste of 4x5 sheet film.

The image is 7x7, but with a bit of each corner chopped off.

There was also a back for Polaroid Type 80 film which was a perfect fit for the 7x7 image (well, except for the chopped off corners). But I don't think you can get Type 80 sized film anymore as Fuji doesn't have an equivalent. I wish they did since I have two type 80 backs, one for the RZ, and a Holgaroid.
