110's,and when you setup the machine it takes approximately 40 to 50% to charge all the lines. I purchased my full set of 700ml carts after 3 weeks of printing(about 50 prints, mostly large.) So plan on $2500.00 for ink the first or second month if you buy the 700ml carts.

nah, the pigment ink SELLING business.

funny how it's turned around and it's more expensive than most if not all precious metals.

Gutenberg would be laughing.

Gutenberg wasn't a successful businessman :-) That aside, the gold price is 31 dollar a gram, silver 0.50 dollar a gram, pigment ink in 700 ML carts should be available below 0.40 dollar a gram = ML. The 3800 cart content at 80 ML will be around the silver price, both expressed in grams. Copper is not a precious metal in my book. Prices converted to ML are of course in favor of ink and then even the MLs of desktop printer cartridges stay below the price of any precious metal. Possibly even 10 years ago when I did see the first messages comparing inkjet ink to precious metals. It is not wise to invest in pigment inks for several reasons.  Whether it is wise to get gold or silver right now is another question. Next time a message like your's appears I could do a bet that it is wrong. That may be a good bet.
