Here is another image from our recent trip to California.  This image was taken in Point Reyes National Seashore.

Lovely photo - just the kind of scene I would shoot! I might have approached it a bit differently, here are my thoughts.

- The hills to the right and left are relatively uninteresting and perhaps could take up less of the image. Shoot as a vertical?

- If you like leaving the hills in, it might look better if they were balanced in terms of brightness. As it is, the left hill is a bit lighter.

- The trail itself. If it's an important part of the picture to you - "here I am walking toward this beautiful scene" - then I would like to see more of it. If it's not important, could it be left out of the image?
