I have eye one match installed on my macbook pro and would like to remove it and all its preference files. For some reason I can not find out how to do that. Can anyone send me a link? I seemed have lost all my info on how to do that.
Thanks
John
The installer doesn't provide a way to remove the software. In your Eye-One Match 3 folder, you should find a log file (Installer Log File). It's supposed to tell you where and what as been installed on your MacBook Pro.
Now, for the preferences, they are usually stored in ~/Library/Preferences. I don't know if Match has a preferences file (I just reinstalled my software on a larger HD and haven't used Match).
You should also check in your items as Match puts a entry to remind you that you must calibrate your display (login items are accessed via System Preferences > Accounts).
Leaving preferences won't hurt your Mac.
