NX2 and setting custom profiles
« on: February 05, 2009, 10:22:43 pm »

I've picked up a box of the Epson Exhibition Paper and am anxious to see how it performs. My problem is installing the custom profile from Pixelgenius. It seems my prints are coming out lighter. Anyone familiar with the process give me a step by step? The images look great on my calibrated Eizo monitor with soft proof on, but print much lighter than I see on my monitor. Any suggestions? Thanx

You are mentioning NX2 in your title so I assume that this is the software you are using. Make sure you have the paper profile installed on your computer, whatever the software you are using to print, it shall use it if the software support color management. NX2 does quite nicely. The only other thing I could see is the brightness of your screen. If it is to low, you will print to light. Hope this help, JY
