Does your NEC 3090 do this?

I was gently wiping the screen (front, panel, or whatever it is called) on my NEC LCD3090WQXi when I noticed that the top edge seems not fastened to the inner edge of the bezel.  The sides and bottom appear to be firmly attached, but there is roughly a sixteenth of an inch play at the top.

Is this normal for this monitor?  I hate to sound paranoid about it, but on the other hand...

This is normal. The panel is not attached to the bezel at all points in order not to create any pressure points on the panel. The panel is extremely sensitive to pressure around the edges and this will show up as bleeding/light leakage.
