Canon 400 f5.6 L in LIKE NEW condition! Glass, Barrel, Hood, Tripod collar all look new. Mechanically perfect. This is an awesome lens that is very extremely fast to focus and is very very sharp. It's also a very slim lens that slips into the bag easily and goes anywhere (unlike the chunky thing I replaced it with that required me to buy a bigger bag). The built-in, pull out hood is the best hood design I've used, and takes a split second to set up in those emergency shooting situations. It's much sharper than the 100-400 IS is at 400mm and AF is much much faster than the canon 300 f4 IS + 1.4x extender when shooting moving subjects. This lens was purchased new, date code is UT1010. I love this thing and actually held onto it for an extra 2 1/2 months after I replaced it, but I gotta pay the bills now.
Comes with a nice zippered, padded canon lens case which is brand new/never been used, and original paperwork.

BTW this lens will still AF with a canon 1.4x TC if you scotch tape the 3 extra contacts on either the TC or the lens, but this leaves the camera to AF at f8, so you'll need a subject with good contrast and is fairly slow moving. On a 1 series body it's supposed to AF with the 1.4x TC without having to tape the contacts
