Hi Marc,

Just had a look at your site - there are an awful lot of really nice shots there! In particular I liked so many of your landscape and abandonded series. Where's that swimming pool? It's dead dead cool!

Do you use the Arca yourself? It certainly is, apart from the Sinar Artec, the best fir for my needs functionally...

Best

T

Thanks T,

I currently use medium and large format film cameras, getting back into black and white film right now and have even bought myself a little rangefinder for a trip I'm on soon, along with digital for commercial work. Never shot with an arca (always used sinar and ebony models) but did play with one of the 6x9 models a few years back...very nice for roll film and, I assume, digitla back if you need the full range of movements.
That swimming pool, there are a few in there, but the one you probably mean is here in the UK...may well be concreted over by now!
Cheers,

Marc

Update: sorry,as my research continues I find that the Bicam has vertical shift only until you put the bellows on it, which counts it out for me and may do for you too...

Just to correct Tim there, stick a stitching back on the Bicam and it shifts in both directions, simultaneously, with the limitations of a stitching back!
