Just purchased & installed APS v 1.4 on a windows xp machine. Trying to calibrate Epson Smoothe fineart. The printer prints the calibration chart. Than the lcd panel indicates it will scan the chart.
A second after that, the progress bar on the printers LCD panel shows 100% complete (it never scanned the chart) it ejects & cuts the paper. The APS software sort of just hangs & indicates paper was not calibrated. I am using the latest Firmware & HP printer utility. Also the HP printer utility doesn't seem to be able to calibrate the paper either (displays a completely blank screen).
Also want to mention I am using a Sony Artisan with it's own calibrator for the Monitor profiling not the APS.

Have done some testing & have come to the conclusion the problem is with the printer not with the APS.

The problem I had was identical to:

Rebooting the printer fixed it.
