The adapters allows focus through the entire lens focus range including precise infinity focus (problem with some cheap adapters) and are of a very high quality. Consult the CameraQuest site for more information and if you have questions regarding compatability with your lens and camera combination.
The adapters are completely as new. Not a scratch or mark on them. I have used them to mount the Nikon Ai-s 28mm f2.8 and the Contax/Zeiss 28mm f2 lenses on my Canon 1ds mk. II with great results.
