Moon and Venus in Sunset Clouds

Hey Everyone!

Happy New Year!!!

I read online that the moon and venus would be pretty close and put on a show on New Year's Eve. We stepped out to view the incredible sunset and there was the moon and venus peaking through the pink clouds. Needless to say, I raced to get my camera and fired off a few shots. Here is one of those shots.

Hope you like it!!! Happy New Year!!!

Venus looks so big and bright at night, then in the photo so tiny and insignificant.  Normally I wouldn't recommend object substitution in a photo like this, but in this case a suggestion: If you have enough Venus detail in the original image, or another image with greater magnification, could you try pasting in a magnified copy of Venus where the tiny image of Venus is now?  If it's from the same original, or at least a comparable image from the same shoot, it shouldn't be too much of a no-no alteration.  Just don't make it so big it looks fake.

Other than that, the photo looks great.

Yes, Venus is small, but the shot is still excellent.
