EPSON 3800 PANO
« on: December 28, 2008, 09:11:15 am »

Greetings All.

Was was able to print panos on my older 2400 using Crane Museo 13X 40 sheets.

I understand that the 3800 will go 37 " in length.

I do the customs  settings for a paper size of 13X 36.  My actual image size is 10X30

It looks fine on the "print preview"  box but it starts to print well into the image and not the entire picture height of 10 "  .

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Happy Holidays !

I don't have a 3800, and since your image is smaller than the driver settings allow, it might not be useful to you, but still, as a FYI, you might want to check this thread over at dpreview:

Despite the general feeling on this forum, there are some good people over there

Hope you got your answer.  I haven't printed a pano for awhile on my 3800, but when I did I made a custom paper size of 17 x 40 and had the 13 x 37 print center.  I don't remember having any problems--the biggest was getting the paper to not curl over itself.  I cut the paper from a roll, then just went from there.  Hope you get your answer.  It was really cool to see that pano come out of the printer.
