I have run into a weird issue with Lightroom 2.x (including 2.2). I am running Lightroom on an x64 machine. When using "Print to JPEG File" and choosing ProPhoto as the output color space, the color in the file is wrong in Photoshop. The color is fine when Adobe RGB is the output color space. The color is also fine if I export the picture as a ProPhoto image using the Export function instead of the "Print to JPEG File" function. I have looked at the numbers and what seems to happen is that "Printo to JPEG" in the ProPhoto space actually generates a file with the same RGB values as the "Printo to JPEG" in the Adobe RGB space but tags the file as a "ProPhoto" one. To put it differently, if I open in Photoshop the file generated by LR in the ProPhoto space and "assign" the Adobe RGB space to this file then it looks good.
I have not seen this issue mentioned. Are you noticing the same thing ?
