Bolsa Chica wetlands development

Here's a couple for the tree-huggers.  I was seriously asking around locally whether this housing, on land where coyotes and other animals have been hunting for years, could possibly be for apartments or subsidized living for low-income people.  Apparently not - this housing looks to be single-family at ~3 million dollars and up.  Right there on the best wetlands in SoCal.  I have not found as good a place for photographing a variety of small wildlife anywhere, and there are very few wetlands in SoCal, being basically a desert, and none of those any way near the quality of Bolsa Chica.
