The Best Canvas Stretcher Bars?
« on: December 16, 2008, 08:53:42 pm »

The excellent generic stretcher bars I have counted on for so long are no longer available locally.  It's time time to find a a mail-order supplier.

Can anybody recommend a good bulk source for stretcher bars they like, suitable for inkjet canvas?  I use the standard hand pliers tool, often do gallery wraps.  I need sizes up to 96".  The old ones had a slightly rounded support edge, made it very easy to even out the canvas without being too slippery.

I use dickblick.com for stretcher bars.  Shipping is reasonable too.
