HP z3200 initial ink usage?

Hello,

I just finished setting up my new z3200 and have a question about the ink usage.It did the initial print after I had installed the printhead and then I did a paper advance calibration print, then I did a color calibration of the included roll of HP everyday satin paper and I noticed the ink went down.

Here's the info on ink usage from the HP printer utility on mac os x leopard.

Magenta   13 ml
Yellow   12 ml
Red   13 ml
Green   14 ml
Blue   15 ml
Light cyan   9 ml
Light magenta   10 ml
Gray   11 ml
Light gray   9 ml
Gloss enhancer   8 ml
Matte black   13 ml
Photo black   10 ml

Is this normal for only like 3 test/calibration prints? Maybe it used some in the initial printhead and ink cartridges initialization?

The Z models use about 10-15 ML a square meter.
I think you see the MLs that have gone into the ink channels at initialising but I didn't check whether that was reported when I installed my Z3100 for the first time. If so it is a one time only ink consumption that's inevitable.

My guess is the Z3200 will be as good or better than the Z3100 in ink usage.  I have had the Z3100 since February and usage indicates the following:
618.44 square feet printed
909 ml of ink usage.

So after the lines are charged, you get quite a lot of sq. feet out of the initial cartridges.  In my system, 8 of the original cartridges are still in use with 4 of them about ready to be replaced and four already replaced.  My system is for personal use so does not get the use of a shop.
