Hi , is it right to presume that the camera calibration technique taught in the "Camera to Print" tutorial now carries over into Lightroom, ie : using the color chart and the photoshop script to calibrate a specific camera ?

Yes, although off hand, not sure if you're referring to the new DNG Profile Editor which is a new tool that makes this process fast and easy.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for the clarification. I havn´t tackled the DNG editor yet , but due to your enthusiastic response it seems I will have to :-)

The DNG editor is very easy to use, IMHO.

I photographed a MacBeth color chart outside on a clear day and then inside with tungsten lights. I did this for various ISO settings from 100 to 1600 and created custom profiles for my Canon 1DsMKIII and 40D.

The results are very much improved over the standard LR2 defaults. It's still a process of trial and error, but the results are worth it.
