Changing brightness with EyeOne Display LT?
« on: December 12, 2008, 04:20:09 pm »

I'm trying to reduce the brightness of my display, but the only time I've ever seen EyeOne Match ask which brightness level I want set was when I initially installed the software.  Every time I calibrate my monitor, it just sort of skips that step.  Does anyone have any exerience with this?  I know I could probably reinstall the software, but it seems like this functionality should be built into the software.  By the way, I'm using a Sony Vaio notebook with Vista 32-bit installed.  Thanks for any help you can provide!

Notebooks typically have a pair of keyboard keys to adjust the brightness of LCD display. Brightness values are usually in a range from 120-140 cd/m2. EyeOne Match uses data directly provided by Eye One Display colorimeter (or more expensive spectrophotometer) to adjust the brightness, contrast, and other parameters related to monitor calibration (gamma, white point).
