Z3100 won't shut off
« on: December 08, 2008, 03:34:31 am »

Trying to shut off my Z3100 with the green button right of front panel.
Usually, it switches off in 30 sec.
Here, the front panel says "Switching power off. Please wait…" since 15 minutes.
Shall I switch off with the main switch ?

Of course! Wait 20 seconds and switch it on again; it's the best reset you can think of.
BTW, leave it normally on 24/7, no problem, automatic head checks and only a minor zoom from the fan.

In fact, I swiched off fom the mains, and switched it back on. Problem solved.
Having discusseds of 24/7 with Neil Snape and some others, I opted for leaving
it on every night, and only when necessary during the day.
