Keywording Multiple Photos

I used to highlight a group of photos, type the keyword and it would be applied to all.  I can't seem do that anymore, but I am certain I could in the past.  I am trying to figure out how to do it, and from what I read, the only way to add keywords to multiple photos after import is to either drag and drop the keyword, or drag and drop the photos onto the keyword.  Is this the only way?  I like to type them out and have it applied to the group as I type.

1. In Library, select all the photos you want to apply the keyword(s) to.

2. On the Keywording panel, you can either type into the Enter Keywords field, or the larger text field above (that shows all the keywords applied to the selected images).

3. Remember to press return/enter when you're done.

Yes, but you have to do it in the library grid on the primary monitor, if you
use the grid on the second display you will only apply the keywords to the most
selected image, not all. BTDT. Very annoying.

I tired again today and it seems to be working.  For some reason when I highlighted a group, I would write the keywords and hit enter and it would only do it for the primary highlighted photo, not the rest.  I tried multiple times and could not get it to work.  I was starting to think maybe I hadn't dont it in awhile and I was only able to do it in the 2.0 version.  But went into it today and it's working normal now.  Weird....  Tx for the help though.
