Can you shoot straight down with the 50 - 110? I know this was talked about in the past, but i don't remember the answer. I received my email for the 25% off, and plan to order the 50 - 110.

I do it all the time. Camera upside down, facing the floor. No problems whatsoever, which means; I have made over 20K shots without my front element falling off. So far so good

No problems here too. Before I bought the 50-110 I called Hasselblad to check with them the serial number to get a 50-110 without the front lens problem.
Nevertheless is it recommended not to place the lens camera combo on the front lens. The manual makes this very clear.
