NEC 3090 and Nvidia Quadro NVS 280
« on: December 01, 2008, 12:13:05 pm »

Does anybody have any experience or idea if the Nvidia Quadro NVS 280 that came with my Dell precision workstation 670 will drive this monitor at native resolution and refresh?  I have posted this question at Nvidia, but I thought I would also try here since someone might be running that configuration.

Thanks,
Evan

I'm running the NEC 3090 with a pair of 512Mb nVidia 9800 GT cards, linked as SLI.  However, each one alone has no problem at the 2560x1600 resolution.  I believe your Quadro is more powerful than the 9800 GT.  If you go onto the nVidia websit and find your video card you can check/compare specifications, including the maximum resolution for analog and digital.

Thanks for the input.  I will research their web site some more and see if I can find something.  Otherwise I guess I'll just have to try it.
