Hasselblad Phocus 1.1.1 released
« on: December 01, 2008, 08:49:45 am »

New features since V 1.1

Support for the new H3D-II 50 camera.

You can now setup an after-export action in the export dialog to either open exported files in the selected image editor or to reveal them in Finder.

Both queue items and thumbnails now have a contextual menu associated - right click or ctl-click to access the menus. This for instance enables you to reveal a selected file in Finder.

Approval levels of 3FR files can now be edited and the info is carried over during import.

Issues fixed

Viewer display color management on multiple monitor setups is now handled correctly.

An issue leading to missing RGB readouts after using the switch compare views function has been fixed.

Incorrect calibration data was applied when capturing or importing Ixpress images.

So is there a chance that the H3D-II 50 will be shipped this year? We ordered on about 4-5 weeks ago in the hope that we can take this camera with us to our 4 week trip starting on the 20th december. Our Hasselblad dealer told us that the first release date would be early november, then 17th november, and now some tell us 'not this year'. Not this year would be really, really bad. We have all equipment ready, 3 lenses bought, and a lot of accessories 4x 16 GB Extreme IV UDMA, Battery Grips etc. We are just waiting for the H3D 50 camera.

So do you have any insights of the shipping date from hasselblad to dealers in europe? We don`t care if it`s Germany, UK or elsewhere, we just need if possible the camera till mid december. thanks for a short reply if we might rethink the option to have 50 MPixel with us in Polynesia.

H3DII50's have already been shipped to Hasselblad subsidiaries in Europe.
Hasselblad USA will be receiving the first shipment by the end of this week.

Hopefully you won't be much longer.
Hasselblad plans to release a final version of Phocus for PC in December. I do apologize for not being able to offer a specific date.
