Are you using rolls or sheets?
I had the same problem with my old 2200 using roll paper. Managed to salvage the roll by cutting it into the lengths I needed, then clipping the pieces to foamcore with office supply binder clips at each end of the paper lengths. The foamcore was the backing I planned to use for mounting the prints, the paper could be made to come close enough to the edges for clipping by placing it at a diagonal. Put little pieces of cardboard under the clips at the end that gets fed into the printer to prevent dimpling. After a few days the paper was flat enough to use. But way too much work for general use, I changed papers.
If your paper comes in various weights, use the lightest one.
