I just heard from Adorama.  They plan to ship the 5D MkII with 24-105 kits on Monday, Dec. 1st.

Been promised mine (in the UK) this Friday. The dealer seems pretty confident.

No word from the large Canadian retailer I ordered mine from, except a call a week back claiming the price went up by $300 (and constantly blaming it on Canon). Hmm... let me check my invoice, complete with the 25% downstroke... nope, the printed price looks the same to me. We'll see...
