Z3100 Firmware Summary - TR12-7.0.0.3-5

I am looking for a couple of people (who can spare me reading all 110 posts) and who can answer... Is firmware version TR12-7.0.0.3-5 of 6 Oct 2008 that I see for Vista (or XP) on the HP site now functional and a reasonable thing to download? Does it have any problems? After finishing with the "turkey", I may be ready for an adventure .

Installed it in my 44" weeks ago with absolutely no issues. Win XP Pro SP3.

Likewise on my Z3100ps 24".  No problems.  I do suggest that you install the new drivers as well.  I found I get the best results in SPPro SP3, by deleting my Z3100 from the Printers & Faxes list prior to installing the new drivers.

I thank you both for your encouragement. I thank god have the latest driver (61.73.361.41)... I hate installing HP drivers .

I installed last week, at first the latest Printer Utility and the drivers, after that the new firmware on a 24" Z3100 without problems on Win XP SP2.
