Playing with LR2 --- Before/after image
« on: November 20, 2008, 06:24:55 pm »

Love the new Lightroom! Here is an image I processed (along with original image in JPEG --- RAW available if anyone wants to try something).
Comments/suggestions about the composition are welcome!

Playing with LR2 --- Before/after image

I like the basic crop, although I'd remove the roofline at the bottom and clone out the flashing on the right.  As far as colours, etc. Lightroom has MANY different possibilities.  You have to find something you're comfortable with for each image...

Mike.

Some examples, using your original:

Mike,
Thanks for your feedback! Cloning out the shiny metal part from the right side, does make it much better. I'm fairly new to LR, cloning it out hadn't even crossed my mind! I really like your first image; the window seems sharp and draws attention.
