Hello,
I just completed another slide-show (flash, with sound) containing some B&W portraits from India:

Vinc,
First off, Nice work. It takes dedication and commitment to establish a style - and your opinion on shooting only B&W and people is a great start!
I found the sound in most slideshows does nothing - sometimes even distracting, but that is just me. Maybe, you can provide a on/off button instead.
Also - about portraits, When i first did my body of work - on "Faces" - which was pretty much headshots of people, an established art critique at ICP, reviewed the work and said "This says nothing about india or the work they do. It just shows a bunch of Indian faces". Ever since, my approach to the theme has been different. I like the fact that you have a few environmental portraits which is one of the things i have started doing as well. The technique used in most movies called "establishing" shot - first shows a full environmental shot, gradually zooming in. In my portfolio - i now have on the left an environmental shot and on the right the head shot. But, that is just me.
Just my 2 cents,
-Umesh
