Removing background from images
« on: November 15, 2008, 07:13:12 am »

I am finding this too hard, I googled and found some companies that do this sort of thing, has anyone tried them? Is clipping path the same as deepetching. www.deepetch.com seems to be one good one, I also saw www.lazymask.com and www.digital-media-tech.com. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing. My catalog has over 300 images of jewellery and jackets with fur fitted on manequins due in two weeks, all shot on a blue studio background. Do I require alpha channel masking? Can anyone help please?

STOP LITTERING THIS FORUM! You have asked this same question four times already. You really don't have to start a new topic every time.

Agree 100%.  Just left open for spammers to tout their wares.

Such as stevewalker who actually is not anyone called stevewalker and has been busted in another forum as the owner of the the company he/she mentions.

Just looked at the original post date 2008!   :-[. Just goes to show the depth spammers dredge to get messages through

If you read the original post again and the first reply you will see the post date goes back to 2008 with no comeback from the OP!

Then look at the post from a known and outed spammer 9 years later!!!

I cannot speak for anyone else but I get tired of these nuisance, chancer, freewheeler posts which if allowed to prosper can spoil fora.

Why not "report to moderator" this nonsense and ask that this thread be deleted???
