opening images in CS4 without stacking??
« on: November 13, 2008, 04:12:41 am »

Can some kind person please tell me how to get CS4 to open images in seperate windows (the float all option) as a default, I often have to make 6 or 8 copies of an image and edit them seperatly, now PS seems to "stack" them for want of a better word, I'm going to go crazy if I have to do it from the window float all option every time (well crazier anyway)
Also does anybody know what happened to the option to make a duplicate image by right clicking on the top of an image, it seems to have gone the same way as extract/picture package/pattern maker etc etc.  Wayne

Wayne:

This drove me nuts too (short trip), but there is a checkbox in Preferences for you to check - I don't have CS4 on this computer but it may be in the interface area - easy to find. Once you close Photoshop and open it again the default will be back to normal...
