Epson R1800 paper size issue

I am trying to print from Lightroom 2.0 on my Epson R1800.  I have several profiles setup in which I did the Page Setup, Color Management, ICC thing in advance and get good results.  However, when I got to use all the same settings (ICC, Color Mgmt, etc) and change the paper size, it won't load the paper and gives me an error in the printer utility that says, "Media out or not loaded correctly".  I have tried using some of the LR presets for photo packages and also tried printing from Photoshop.

I feel like I have tried every setting in every dialogue and still get this error.  Anyone have any ideas??

Matt, have you found a solution?  The 'net is rife with descriptions of this symptom with this printer printing from OS X (10.5.5 in my case) the OS X driver usually being blamed.  FWIW, the printer gives my Production Development dept. fits trying to print from Photoshop, but i found a couple of days ago that  I could print reliably from Preview, so they are trying to work with that.
