Wonderful capture! Perhaps just a bit more detail in the foreground would make it even better?

Looks Great. I might have cropped a bit tighter on the bottom on the image. Did you push the depth of the blues in the sky in post? If so, the snow looks to have a bin of an odd blue hue to it. but then again, it might just be my eyes playing tricks on me.

I like the idea and the composition is pretty good if you wanted the trunk dead center but sometimes that does work and may in this picture.  I also see a blue hint in the snow.  One thing you can do to correct this is to meter off of the blue sky and that will make the exposure of the snow come out white.  Also, the sky looks off with the different shades of blue.  Take another one and let's see what it looks like with metering off of the blue sky.
