It might be off-topic, though it is debatable whether major events in society are or are not important to photograpy, in any case I am glad Obama won.

Congratulations to all of us Europeans & other nations!

The price of electricity is more important to photographers. Should we start threads about that?
The price of gas is more important to photographers. Should we start threads about that?
The price of food is more important to photographers. Should we start threads about that?
Comfortable shoes are more important to photographers. Should we start threads about that?
Having a good relationship with ones co-workers is more important to photographers. Should we start threads about that?
Submitting the best possible tax return is more important to photographers. Should we start threads about that?
Taking a good vacation now and then is more important to photographers. Should we start threads about that?
etc...

We have specific forums for a reason. I don't know why that's so hard for some people to understand

Shut up.
We are all happy and want to celebrate.  This is once in a lifetime for a lot of us, and sure to change all of our lives.
If you want me to be on topic then I will attach an image I just shot on my Phase One P45+ at 800 iso.  of the celebrations here in San Francisco.

Who are you to say "we are all happy and want to celebrate"? Seems a bit pretentious perhaps.
Just keep it in the right place. Is it really that difficult?

I meant 'we' as the ones who have posted.  Never mind, this is obviously a touchy subject- surprisingly. in your face Palin supporters.
