A selection of photos taken at the monumental cemetery of Staglieno, in Genoa, Italy.

Any comment very appreciated,
- Marco.

Marco,
Your gallery is fantastic. I'm touched by both the serenity and the depth of the sculptures. I've got the impression of being affected by the grief of these men and women.

Thanks for sharing.

I think 80 photos is a bit much for a gallery for comment--I wouldn't know where to begin on selecting individual images for comment, and, frankly, I got bored and quit by 50, so if there is good work to the end, I did not see it. Some really nice images, but I think you could stand to edit it down significantly in number--it was feeling repetitive.

I quite liked them all, agreeing on there being too many though for a comment on them all. '
Though I quite liked the one with the girl statue... You've captured them all very nicely.

Beautiful images, with excellent composition, control of depth of field and  use of available light.  You should be very proud of this work.  The quality of most of this sculpture only adds to the emotional impact, as it is of a caliber rarely seen in American cemeteries.  I have to agree with others, though, that a little tighter editing would benefit the strongest shots in not diluting their impact.

Thanks to all for the kind comments. True, for sure I have to do a major selection of the photos. The cemetery is very very large and so many statues...

  Thanks again!
