Yes, offering DNG as an in-camera option (i.e., in addition to, not a replacement for, the non-DNG raw format) is one way to go. Pentax does that currently, e.g., the K200D shoots both PEF and DNG formats.

Ted, If I were you, I would edit my first Post message to put the new address of the petition, because after 100 responses nobody will find that new address !!

Thanks to all those who've posted here, on other threads here, and who've signed the petition...  if you haven't, and intend to, please take a minute now to do it, and show your support of DNG to Nikon and Canon.
