Vista screen problem
« on: October 28, 2008, 04:37:03 am »

I've been having problems with my display using Windows Vista Business.
I sometimes get horizontal black lines  across the screen (eizo CE210). My VGA card is a Nvidia 7600GT with double DVI port.

I have tried to solve the problem by updating and rolling back drivers, but that doesn't slove the problem. When I boot in XP everything works fine, so it must be a Vista problem. I didn't had the problem from the start, it started only after a few months.

No Eizo display drivers available for Vista.

It's likely your video card.  Vista's aero uses directx.  Xp's interface doesn't.  Try disabling aero.
