Hp Baryta Satin
« on: October 17, 2008, 10:24:55 am »

Is anyone out there using the new HP Baryta Satin paper yet on the Z3100? It is apparently available from Hp.

I'm wondering how the gloss differential situation compares to the other gloss fiber papers out there.

Anyone have comments about the best fit for gloss fiber papers and this printer for moncohrome? I've found the Crane Silver Rag to work best for me at this point.

My understanding is that it will be available Early Nov! Its a Nice sheet of paper. The differance is the coating.. Silver Rag isnt a Baryta Coating. But The Base's are both Rag.. Very simular results IMHO..

Thanks Jimmy. Let me know when it comes in and I'll order some from ya. Is the texture more like the Silver Rag or more like the Innova Ultrasmooth Fiber Gloss? I can live with either. Sounds like you are saying it doesn't have the oba bright blueness of the Innova and more like the "natural" white of the SRag?
