photo printing labs - recommendations
« on: October 14, 2008, 04:54:27 pm »

For various reasons, I prefer to send my files to a professional photo printer, as opposed to printing myself.  I have used two labs primarily, but I have issues with each.  Both labs are quite distant from my location.  Without naming names, one lab is fairly prompt in filling and returning my orders, but have occasional nagging quality issues (tiny "scratches" around edges of prints, etc.).  The other lab is fantastic on quality, but increasingly slow in service--recent orders have taken more than three weeks from upload to receipt.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions forum participants might have as to high quality, dependable, and responsive pro print labs.

I've been using Nat Coalson in Colorado for a couple of years.  His prices are fair, service excellent but most importantly, his prints are downright gorgeous.  His website is Coalson Editions.
