imagePrograf problem
« on: October 08, 2008, 08:16:43 pm »

I have been using imagePrograf to print to my ipf5000 on system 10.5.  Worked wonderfully. 16bit output.  All honkey dorey. Today I find that I cant set color (need to set it to no correction since correcting from lighttroom).  Forces me to use ColorSync matching all other options grayed out. ANy ideas?

There is a workaround for this bug posted on the iPF wiki:

Are your running Lightroom in 32 or 64 bit mode? The driver doesn't work yet when running an app in 64 bits. Have you tried reinstalling the latest version of the driver? Are you up to date on your firmware?

Works for me, but you must be sure to click Print One and not Print after completing the print settings.  If it still defaults back to colorsync then you need to quit and reopen LR again.

I'll try again.  I am in 64-bit mode.  It did work in that mode at the start. Should I switch to 32?  Up to date with firmware and driverss

The Mac drivers aren't quite yet compatible with 64 bit mode. Launch Lightroom in 32 bit mode to use this driver.

I know none of you wants to hear this but PSCS4 has exactly the same problem as LR2. And PSCS4 does not even have the same print setting work around. At least we have the plugin with PSCS4. I guess it works as it opens, but I have not tried to print with it yet.
